Middletown is our home. We are very excited to play a symbiotic role with Middletown and our beer community, and it’s been a pleasure to start to get to know Middletown’s local community. We have recently received several comments from Middletown locals that they would like some of our beer but the Saturday release scene is a bit much for their liking. While we encourage people to come hangout out, make new friends, share experiences, and share some of the best beers from around the world prior to release… We hear ya and we’re happy to respond. Moving forward, we will be setting aside a portion of the weekends release to be on sale the following Thursday and Friday at the brewery with the intent to allow Middletown locals easier access to the release. We will try and dial exact amounts but this is our plan moving forward.
This Saturday 5/5 from 11:30am-6pm at the brewery, alongside TABA Cherry and Shook Ones we will be selling cans of MC² at $18 per four pack. Limit 1 case per person, limits subject to change. MC² (8.0% ABV) is Photon’s big brother. We literally took Photon’s hopping rate and squared it. This DIPA is our tribute to the amazing relationship that energy and mass are balanced, proportional to the speed of a photon squared. It pours a hazy tangerine color, releasing bright tropical notes of mango, pineapple, and apricot. MC² tastes like succulent mango juice loaded with chewy hop resins. This latest batch once again showcases the new school EQ juice finish we have been experimenting with.
Crowler Info: In addition to our announced releases for Saturday, we will also be offering crowlers of Sexual Fluxuation, our collab with District 96 Beer Factory. Limits set at two per person. We will also have crowlers of dHop5, 9, 10, Mobius, Photon and TABA!
This Saturday 5/5 from 11:30pm-6pm at the brewery, and in addition to TABA Cherry we will be selling cans of Shook Ones (8.0% ABV) at $20 per 4-pk, 1 case per person (limits subject to change)
Ain’t no such thing as half way Facebook… This beer was brewed as a reminder to us all to promote unity in the beer community and also to not take things too seriously. Beer is fun. We’re all friends. Somethings are not funny and are too far. Even the biggest, toughest people, are in fact a little shook at some level. As a community, we should focus on enjoying each other’s company and share amazing beers from all over the world. Time is the most valuable thing we have, so please don’t waste it social media fighting. RIP Prodigy. Shook ones is a blend of three of our favorite hops with an intense rate of kettle and dry hop additions. It’s pours bright yellow and has a taste of mixed tropical and citrus fruits, candied orange, underlying dankness, with a hint berry. It finishes smooth due to the use of oats and white wheat.
This Saturday, 5/5 at the brewery from 11:30am-6pm, we will be releasing our gold medal winning There and Back Again Cherry (6% ABV) at $16 per bottle. Limit set at 6pp (subject to change).
There and Back Again is a tale of a spontaneous fermentation, isolation, confiscation, rejuvenation, mutation, and finally perturbation. This sour American wild ale is a collaborative effort with our dear friend Dr. Jason Rodriguez. We took our house “honey badger” mixed culture (no saccharomyces) and allowed it to ferment and sour over several months before refermenting it on cherries. The result is a bright and clean cherry pie boosted by the tropical expression of our microorganisms. This beer is unfiltered, unpasteurized, naturally carbonated and will continue to evolve over time if properly cellared.
These new labels feature Dr. Rodriguez’s original images of the wild yeast culture at 100x magnification. This beer took gold at this years Tap NY beer festival and we are excited to be releasing it this Saturday for you.
