This Saturday 01/11, starting at 11:30am at 2-8 South Street, we are happy to introduce a new iteration of our ongoing collaboration with Three Chiefs Brewing Co.: Players 2, The Return To Players (11.0 % ABV). $18 per bottle, limit 4 bottles per person. Limit subject to change.

Players 2, The Return To Players (P2) is an American Imperial Stout brewed with Roasted Hazelnuts, Mostra Coffee Ghost Bear espresso blend, Madagascar Vanilla beans, and Fiji cacao nibs.
P2 pours jet black with a beautiful tan head showcasing our first use of roasted hazelnuts at a rate of more than 20 lb/bbl which melds beautifully with the coffee beans to form a decadent hazelnut espresso. The vanilla and cocoa compliment the olfactory experience to give a sensation of after dinner Ferrero Rocher with expresso. The creamy flavor is a medley of the same with nutty espresso leading the way and the hazelnut balances out the sweetness of this giant stout to leave you ready for the next sip. No lactose was harmed in the making of this beer.

P2 has a thick viscosity and we recommend you drink it near room temperature to get the most out of these adjuncts and their respective interplay as the dynamics of the relative adjunct strength shift as the beer warms and time lengthens. Drink Fresh!

Recent studies prove that a beach-type environment can have a profound impact on our brains and mental health. There is something soothing about the sound of ocean waves, the smell of salt water, and the feeling of warm sand beneath your toes. We feel these ocean vibes and the power of the pun, ‘Vitamin Sea’, definitely have some truth to them. We have also discovered another groundbreaking way to boost mind, body, and spirit to achieve the same effects; hang out with Dino and Mike from Vitamin Sea Brewing for an afternoon. These guys bring such genuinely good vibes and energy with them, we couldn’t wait to have them back to brew another tropical juice bomb.

Ocean Vibes starts with a base of 2row, white wheat, and oats before a Citra and Idaho7 whirlpool. We then dry hopped it with Citra Galaxy, and for the first time, Sabro. We wanted to give this beer a creamsicle like finish so we added a touch of lactose to balance things out. First sip will give you Ocean Vibes galore. Pouring a hazy opaque bright yellow, this beer is bursting with tropical notes and flavors of guava, pineapple, bright clementine and a touch of island coconut from our new friend, Sabro. The velvety mouthfeel is creamy with a hint of chewiness and reminiscent of a tropical flavored push-pop crossed with our big EQjuice finish. If winter has you feeling sluggish, you better get your vitamins in!
