Our experimental series is back today with a new hop combination we wanted to explore. dHop 27 starts with a big base of oats and wheat and a hop bill of Simcoe and Galaxy to both the whirlpool and for the dry hop process. dHop 27 pours bright yellow, with notes of orange zest, pineapple, and lemon peel. Flavors of clementine, papaya, cantaloupe, and stone fruit permeate with small hints of pine, berry, and earth. Thanks to its base, dHop 27 has a soft and creamy mouthfeel leading up to our #EQjuice finish and a calculated amount of pointed bitterness.
There and Back Again Guava / Passionfruit
on October 26, 2020 No commentsToday at noon from our website, we will sell, There and Back Again Guava / Passionfruit (American Wild Ale) at $18 per 750 ml/ $10 per 375ml bottle. We are extremely excited to bring you the next batch of There and Back Again Guava / Passionfruit. Our RnD team has been working behind the scenes literally for years to understand the interplay of balanced acidity, hops, the dimensions of our mixed cultures, full body, and a dry finish. This newest batch showcases the advancements in our wild program. The improved processes and techniques bring you a beer that is more balanced than previous batches and showcases the beautiful fruit characteristics in a layered and complex beer with a balanced and gentle acidity. We have several more of these elegant creations gracefully aging and are excited to take what we’ve learned to the production equipment moving forward.
There and Back Again is a tale of a spontaneous fermentation, isolation, confiscation, rejuvenation, mutation, and finally perturbation. This sour American wild ale is a collaborative effort with our dear friend Dr. Jason Rodriguez. We took our house “honey badger” mixed culture (no saccharomyces) and allowed it to ferment and sour over several months before refermenting it on Guava and Passionfruit. The result is a bright and clean Tropical explosion flavor boosted by the tropical expression of our microorganisms. This beer is unfiltered, unpasteurized, naturally carbonated and will continue to evolve over time if properly cellared.
Superfluidity
on October 23, 2020 No commentsToday at noon, we will sell, Superfluidity (8.5 % ABV DIPA) at $20 per 4-pk, no limit. We will have this available with options for curbside pickup at the brewery or delivery throughout New York, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., Ohio, Nevada, New Hampshire, Vermont, North Dakota, and Virginia.
The next beer from our Community Juice Series is here today. Superfluidity is a characteristic property of a fluid with zero viscosity which flows without any loss of kinetic energy. Superfluid whirlpools rotate indefinitely. Congratulations to Scott P. for being the next pick for the series!
Superfluidity starts off a base of 2 row, white wheat, and flaked oats for a super soft and creamy base. We then added a whirlpool of Citra and Simcoe before a dry hop of Citra, Simcoe, and Riwaka. Pouring hazy a vibrant yellow, Superfluidity has aromas of citrus, and candied pineapple, with pursuant flavors of pine, orange gummies, Dole pineapple slices, dank earth, and berries with a touch of white pepper. The mouth feel is soft and the beer is crushable with our #EQjuice profile and a balanced pointed bitterness.
Y’all Need Science
on October 22, 2020 No commentsToday at noon, we will sell, Y’all Need Science, a collaboration with Cerebral Brewing(8.0 % ABV DIPA) at $20 per 4-pk, no limit. We will have this available with options for curbside pickup at the brewery or delivery throughout New York, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., Ohio, Nevada, New Hampshire, Vermont, North Dakota, and Virginia.
We recently had a zoom session with our buds from Cerebral and thought it would be funny to mesh our logos together and pay homage to one of our favorite Astrophysicists, Neil deGrasse Tyson. The advocate of science and free thought is often heralded as a champion of rationality and we are big fans.
Y’all Need Science uses a big base of oats and wheat and adds a hop bill of Citra, Motueka, and Strata. Upping the dry hop yet again with an exclusive 2020 harvest, Y’all Need Science pours bright yellow with an aroma of assorted citrus and dank grass. The flavor profile is loaded with citrus, peach fruit cup, mango and weed in a crazy drinkable dank finish. Our #EQjuice equation checks out with an A+ here and our thirst for massive flavor through science is indeed satisfied.
Dream Lab
on October 21, 2020 No commentsToday at noon, we will sell, Dream Lab, a collaboration with Other Half Brewing Company (10.0 % ABV TIPA) at $22 per 4-pk, no limit. We will have this available with options for curbside pickup at the brewery or delivery throughout New York, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., Ohio, Nevada, New Hampshire, Vermont, North Dakota, and Virginia.
Think if Dream Wave Fluctuation and Straight Outta the Laboratory had a baby with no lactose. We ended up taking EQ’s SOTL grain bill, modified an aggressive Other Half hopbill of Galaxy and Citra, and ran it through the SOTL process to bring out the EQ juice. This is how dreams are made.
Dream Lab pours a glowing opaque tangerine color releasing aromas of passion fruit, lime, peach, and pineapple all integrated with a bright citrus backdrop. The taste is a bright creamy tropical flavor and a touch of minerality loaded with a big juicy profile. Its escalating brightness is buoyed by a soft velvety mouth feel making it extremely well balanced and drinkable. Best batch yet? It’s been said but we will let you be the judge of this lab experiment.
Space Dream Lab

Our Biggest Dry Hop. Ever. Period. The next beer in our perpetual Dream Lab series with Other Half is here and it is absolutely galactic. Space Dream Lab starts off with a base of wheat and oats and a whirlpool of Galaxy and Citra before an absolutely absurd amount of out just delivered 2020 Galaxy and Citra went in for the dry hop. If you saw our post last Friday, we literally filled our fermenter to the tippy top with hops, something crazy we could only do with the team from Brooklyn.
Space Dream Lab pours like straight yellow Milk with explosive notes of passionfruit, Groove stand OJ, and sticky hops. The flavor is island fruits, orange creamsicle, pineapple in heavy syrup, mango and papaya wrapped up with dank hop profile. It’s milky and creamy finish is loaded up with our #EQjuice making it near crushable. A beer fit for the stars.
