This Saturday 12/29 from 11:30AM – 6PM, at the brewery, we are thrilled to offer our Wild Ale Collab with Other Half: Paradise City (5.5% ABV) at $18 a bottle limit 6 bottles a person.

Oh won’t you please take me home! Back in June, Sam from Other Half came to visit us to brew Dream Wave Fluctuation… along with a batch of wild ale. We supersized Equilibrium’s Welcome to the Jungle Grain Bill and fermentation, added a new Brett strain, and aged the beer for months on copious amounts of Dragon Fruit, Pink Guava, and Mango. We are pleased to introduce our homage to NY as one of the great adult playgrounds in the North East: Paradise City. This beer is unfiltered, unpasteurized, naturally carbonated and will continue to evolve over time if properly cellared.

Happy Holidays! We are happy to announce the return of a favorite for all of your planned festivities.

This Saturday, 12/22 from 11:30am-6pm at the brewery, we will be selling dHop 5. $20 per 4-pack, limit set at one case per person, limits subject to change.
dHop 5 is a 8.5% DIPA that supersizes one of our favorite Equilibrium IPAs: Fractal Citra/Galaxy. We scaled Fractal’s grain bill, water treatment, fermentation, and super sized the hop bill of citra and galaxy. dHop5 pours a milky straw yellow (milk>haze) releasing aromas of passion fruit, peach, lime, and pineapple all integrated with a sorbet twist. The taste is a bright creamy tropical flavor that is dangerously drinkable and balanced.
We are also excited to say that this is the first batch of dHop 5 that exhibits our EQ Juice finish!

More to come!

Special Relativity 2

on December 18, 2018 No comments

This Saturday 12/22 from 11:30AM – 6PM at the brewery, we are thrilled to offer Equilibrium’s first bottled stouts for the holiday! – Special Relativity 2 (9.81%) our Imperial wheat Stout in 500 ml bottles at $12 a bottle limit 6 bottles a person.

Special Relativity is a special case of General Relativity, which focuses more on time (and space) as opposed to gravity. To pay homage to this theory, which gave rise to E = MC2, we brewed a stout that’s a special case of our stout General Relativity. For Special Relativity 2, we brewed this beer with a healthy dose of wheat and allowed it to naturally carb and condition for many months. This stout pours viscous black releasing aromas of creamy milk chocolate, roasted coffee, toasted marshmallow, vanilla, and a touch of dark fruit out of tan-mousse head. Its flavor follows the aroma with a full creamy body that dances on the palate from tight natural carbonation. Please enjoy at 55°-60°F. This beer will cellar well at proper cellaring temperatures.

The Beast Arise Like Yeast

on December 13, 2018 No comments

This Saturday 12/15 from 11:30AM – 6PM at the brewery, we will debut cans of our Safety Team Collaboration: The Beast Arise Like Yeast (10% TIPA) at $22 per four pack. Limit 1 case per person, limits subject to change.

Like Raekwon the Chef, our homie Brandon Tolbert from Safety Team Brewing came back up to cook up some experimental hops with us. This was a celebrated reunion as we brewed our first collab ever with Brandon back when he brewed for The Answer and we dropped: Can it All Be So Simple a little over a year ago.

We shared unique brewing philosophies and made them synergistic to construct this TIPA using honey malt and a blend of 5 different hops. It pours a hazy tangerine orange and releases rich notes of a creamy fruit salad. The taste follows the nose with a bright creamy tropical flavor followed by a balanced honey presence and bitterness making this big bear easy to drink.

Adrestia

on November 29, 2018 No comments

Collaboration Saturday Continues! In addition to all the amazing stuff happening with Other Half, this Saturday 12/1 from 11:30AM – 6PM at the brewery, we will debut cans of our Seven Island BreweryCollaboration: Adrestia (8.2% DIPA) at $20 per four pack. Limit 1 case per person, limits subject to change.

Seven Island came to brew with us all the way from Corfu Greece!
Last year Ratebeer awarded us top 10 best new breweries in the world. We were not rated number 1. However, during Hop City in Leeds, UK, we were approached and congratulated by number 1 new brewery in the world: Seven Island Brewery. We struck up a great relationship with them and decided we wanted to work together to synergistically blend our two hop forward styles. It was only natural to name the beer Adrestia, after the Greek Goddess of Balance.

We used a grain bill loaded with wheat and oats and hopped this beer heavily with citra, belma, and galaxy. It pours a very hazy bright yellow and has an aroma of peaches, tropical fruit, and a touch of strawberry. The flavor follows the aroma with our signature EQ Juice profile.

Also available this Saturday, We have one of our best batches of of MC^2 yet! $18 per 4-pk, 1 case per person.
