This Saturday 6/23 from 11:30am-6 pm at the brewery, we will be selling cans of Fractal Citra+Mosaic. $16 per four pack, limit one case per person. Fractal Citra+Mosaic (6.8% IPA) investigates the interplay between Citra and Mosaic, and our revised hopping processes.
Fractal Citra+Mosaic pours a resinous-hazy-straw yellow releasing complex aromas of dank citrus, passion fruit, berries, earthy grass, and tropical melon. The taste is resinous, dank pineapple juice with a touch of pine. It ends with a slightly creamy mouthfeel and a firm but rounded bitterness.
Our friend Soren from Dry & Bitter Brewing Company is in town from Denmark. He has always taken care of us and showed us a good time at the European beer events. It’s great to have him on our turf to pay it forward.
Meet Alexis aka AJ, she works on handling some of the administrative duties here at Equilibrium. On any given day she may track inventory, purchase hops, grains, cans and supplies all the way down to toilet paper! She files and tracks brand registrations with the State and is responsible for a bunch of tasks that helps getting beer into your hands. Being a longtime beer fan she credits getting into the hobby by being around people who enjoyed trying different types of beers at least once. Initially, imports were the way to go for her and then as the domestic craft beer scene evolved it was a no brainer for her to sample and explore what was available around here. She still loves tasting different styles and visiting local breweries with her husband, Ed.

Fluctuation pours a very hazy tangerine color, releasing bright tropical notes of passion fruit, mango, pineapple, and lychee with an undercurrent of sorbet and cream. Fluctuation tastes highly resinous and tropical with an assertive yet soft bitterness. We consider Fluctuation to be perfectly unbalanced.
This Saturday 6/16 from 11:30AM – 6PM at the brewery, we will be debut cans of our Other Half Collaboration: Dream Wave Fluctuation (8.1% DIPA) at $20 per four pack. Limit 1 case per person, limits subject to change.
Think of a galaxy forward Fluctuation plus Other Half’s Dream treatment. A fluctuation from beta brain waves to alpha and theta waves shifts your consciousness from alertness, cognition, and concentration to a dream state of relaxation, visualization, creativity, intuition, and vivid visual imagery. Sam from Other Half came up to brew with us and we discussed potential synergies between our two heavily hopped styles. We ended up taking EQs fluctuation grain bill and adding oats and (for the first time in EQ commercial application) lactose in-line with Other Half’s Dream treatment. This beer was followed by an aggressive dry hop of Galaxy and Citra.
Dream Wave Fluctuation pours a hazy glowing tangerine color releasing aromas of passion fruit, peach, lactose, and pineapple all integrated with a juicy twist. The taste is a smooth a bright creamy tropical wave of flavor with a touch of sweet that is dangerously drinkable and balanced.
