This Saturday 3/23, starting at 11:30am at the brewery, we will be bringing you our 3️⃣0️⃣0️⃣th batch of beer made on our system, This is STRATA! (8.0% ABV) $20 per four pack. Limit 1 case per person, limits subject to change.

To commemorate batch 300, we used Strata hops for the first time with some support from a favorite hop, Citra. This beer pours a bright hazy yellow and has an aroma of passion fruit meets pot. Flavors turn into a battlefield of tropical fruits including; mango, passion fruit, melon, fresh berry with an underlying citrus flavor. Prepare for glory upon finish, which is a tropical build up showcasing our #EQjuice, which never surrenders.

This Saturday 03/23, starting at 11:30AM at the brewery, we are proud to offer the next beer from our barrel aged program, Vanilla Gorilla (12% ABV) at $22 per bottle.

Due to limited yield out of this single barrel, the limit is set at 1 bottle per person. We don’t expect this beer to make it into Sunday. Also, please note that we will not be holding any back for the following Thursday.

The Vanilla Gorilla, a white hybrid leopard cat with stunning blue eyes, oversaw the birth of Equilibrium’s beer program in Pete’s basement. He is the neutralizer of all things excessively elevated, and Pete’s best friend. To pay tribute to this pillar of Equilibrium, we aged Special Relativity 1 for more than eight months in @hillrockestatedistillery Bourbon Barrels that were filled with hand-cut Madagascar Vanilla Beans. The Vanilla Gorilla opens up with huge notes of vanilla, marshmallow, oak, burnt sugar, dark chocolate, coffee, and bourbon. Its flavor follows the aroma with a full viscous body and a smooth vanilla-chocolate-bourbon palate linger that warms the soul like a loved-one’s hug.

This beer should be served near room temperature to enjoy the bouquet of complexity that went into its creation. This beer will cellar well at proper temperatures. The label art for Vanilla Gorilla was created by local illustrator, Julia Green (@juliagreenartistwhosings).

The taproom will be open at 7am for tickets, if you arrive before that, we kindly ask you hold your own place in line.

This Saturday 3/16 starting at 11:30am at the brewery, we will be selling our collaboration with Narrow Gauge Brewing Company , Intermediate Dance Moves. $20 per 4-pk, 1 case per person subject to change.

Intermediate Dance Moves (8.0% DIPA) came about after dancing one too many nights with Jeff at various festivals and beer events. To pay homage to our developing montage of floor fire, we chose to highlight mosaic, which is one of Jeff’s favorite hops with some support from citra and belma.

Intermediate Dance Moves pours a pale opaque yellow and has an aroma of tropical citrus and dank earth. The flavor is reminiscent of tropical stone fruit, citrus and berries with a very faint pine earthiness. Layered hop resins coat the tongue and our signature #EQjuice does its thing on finish.

This Saturday 3/16 starting at 11:30am at the brewery, we will be selling bottles of Austin Black Currant/Blackberry. $16 per bottle. Limits set at 6 bottles per person, limits subject to change.

Austin (6.0%ABV) is a farmhouse ale built by the inspiration to share beer with people close to heart. It is pale, tart, delicate, and complex with a bit of pleasant funk. Austin was then refermented on black currants and blackberries at a rate of more than 2 lbs of fruit per gallon for additional months. The result is a jammy medley of currants and blackberry boosted by the expression of our microorganisms. This beer is unfiltered, unpasteurized, naturally carbonated and will continue to evolve over time if properly cellared.

This Saturday 3/2, starting at 11:30AM at the brewery, we will have a small batch of Vulgar Display of Flower available at $18 per four pack. Limit 1 case per person, limits subject to change.

Vulgar Display of Flower (8.5% ABV) is a tribute to an aggressive yet balanced assault on the senses. It blends East-meets-West coast DIPA with our own Equilibrium twist. It is dry, bitter, piny, resinous, yet remains smooth, juicy, and drinkable. This concoction displays the hop flower’s assertive yet delicious nature with an EQ juice finish.

This Saturday 3/2, starting at 11:30AM at the brewery, we are excited to bring you our collaboration with our friends, Finback Brewery, One Time For Your Mind (8.0% abv DIPA). $20 per four pack, limit 1 case per person, limits subject to change.

Cryo hops are processed using extremely cold temperatures, so when we were discussing the collab a few weeks back during one of NY’s brutalist cold spells ever, the joke of using these hops became a reality. As we froze that night in NYC, we discussed our mutual love of both Queens and music, Nas in particular. One Time For Your Mind was named.
One Time For Your Mind was made primarily with Cryo Hops, a first for us, along with supporting cast of hops to balance things out. It pours a bright tangerine color and has aromas and flavors of orange juice, additional citrus fruit, weed and earth. The finish builds up slowly and then explodes with our signature #EQjuice.

BA Syrup Sandwiches

As we prep beers for Huna, we thought we’d give everyone a little preview of what we’re concocting -A small single Hill Rock Rye Whiskey Barrel aged maple syrup for extended time, was emptied, and then melded with special relativity 2 for several months. This beer was then further conditioned on Madagascar Vanilla, Mostra Brazil Coffee and Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee.

Tasting Notes: We don’t know yet because it’s still being finished! But help us fill them out this Saturday when we tap it at 2 PM in our taproom. This will be the only sixtel in existence outside of Huna.

This Saturday 02/23, starting at 11:30am at the brewery, we are happy to bring back Fluctuation Wave at $20 per four pack. Limit 1 case per person, limits subject to change.

Fluctuation Wave (8.5 % DIPA) takes our beloved DIPA Fluctuation, supersizes the hop bill, adds a touch of lactose, and uses our revised hop process. The tasting notes for this are simple: This beer is the DIPA version of Straight Outta The Laboratory with even more EQ juice and a smooth lactose finish.

Another new batch of MC² will also be available, this batch definitely has the #EQjuice 🥤! $18 per 4-pk, Limit 1 case per person.

This Saturday 02/16 starting at 11:30AM at the brewery, we bring you our collab with our homies Interboro NYC: Agent Orange (8.0% abv DIPA) at $20 per four pack. Limit 1 case per person, limits subject to change.

Agent Orange is our first collaboration made here in Middletown with our friends from Interboro Spirits and Ales. This beer is inspired by local togetherness, EQ’s home in Orange County, Jesse’s background in the indie hip-hop scene, and one of Middletown’s own underground hip-hop stars. This beer is as complex as the concept. So what happens when you take a healthy dose of 2-row, wheat and oats combined with a hop bill of amarillo, citra, belma, and simcoe and age it on fresh orange zest?
You get a bright yellow hazy citrusy DIPA that smells of futuristic oranges and tastes of peach, tropical fruit and dank orange fruit cup with a touch of canabis. The fresh zest compliments the flavors and helps mimic the fresh squeezed OJ Grandma used to make on a Sunday morning, just with new level oranges. It has a chewy mouthfeel and absolutely explodes with our #EQjuice.
