During our @Amaeyzing trip to visit the HPA hop farms in Australia with Jean and Collin from Tired Hands, we crushed many beautiful low ABV ales together and were reminded that simplicity is the ultimate sophistication and is beautiful. In turn, This trippy down under inspired
𝐏acific Pale Ale starts with a base of 2-Row and Wheat and is
𝐇opped with 100% Galaxy whirlpool and Dry Hop and
𝟎 pacific north west hops to set the stage for a new experiment 016 hops. We Took EQ’s
𝐏hoton pale ale brewing process and some magical tricks from Tired Hand’s
𝐇op Hands and a label that Pete drew with Jean when his head was filled with
@Furphy and Jeans head was filled with Furphy +++
𝐘ou can imagine things looked just as trippy as this label.

Ph0phy pours a lemon yellow with a billowy bright white head. This trippy summer crusher mutilates thirst with delicate notes of pineapple, cucumber, and lime.

Bitrate Fluctuation

on July 10, 2020 No comments

Today, we will be selling Bitrate Fluctuation, our first collaboration with buds, WeldWerks Brewing Company (8.5% ABV DIPA) at $20 per 4-pk, no limit. We will have this available with options for curbside pickup at the brewery or delivery throughout New York, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., Ohio, Nevada, New Hampshire, Vermont, North Dakota, and Virginia.
Taking inspiration from the Weldworks Bits beer series and our beer, Fluctuation, we fused the two to create Bitrate Fluctuation. A bitrate is the number of bits per second that can be transmitted along a digital network. These fluctuations in transmission describe the rate at which bits are transferred from one location to another. In other words, it measures how much hoppy goodness is transmitted to your palate in a given amount of time. Given our Zoom call and this new way to collaborate we hope to keep the bits flowing.
We took our Fluctuation base added lots of Oats and Wheat and combined it Citra whirlpool and a dry hop of Strata, Lotus and BRU-1. Bitrate Fluctuation pours a hazy tangerine and has citrus and floral aroma with flavors of tropical orange, papaya, rich saturated pineapple, and bright berries in a creamy #EQjuice finish with just a touch of bite that will keep your brain BPS (Bits Per Second) flowing freely with each sip!

Deviation

on July 9, 2020 No comments

Today, we will sell Deviation (10.5% ABV TIPA) at $22 per 4-pk, no limit. We will have this available with options for curbside pickup at the brewery or delivery throughout New York, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., Ohio, Nevada, New Hampshire, Vermont, North Dakota, and Virginia!
Something that lies away from its natural central tendency is called a Deviation.
We took Straight out of the Laboratory’s massive Citra hop bill and applied our Energy Dry Hop process from Energy Equals to bring you even more juiciness and drinkability than already found in our line of TIPAs; i.e. a TIPA deviation.
Deviation pours a tangerine color and has a tropical nose with the brightness exuding from the can as soon as it’s cracked open. Flavors of big pineapple, fresh squeezed OJ, and fruit punch lead the way in this batch along with notes of mango and lychee with light hints of lime and grass. It’s extremely smooth and light for its ABV and showcases an escalating #EQjuice finish.

Lupo Lab

on July 7, 2020 No comments

Today, we will be selling Lupo Lab (8.0 % DIPA) at $20 per 4-pk (No Limit). We will have this available with options for curbside pickup at the brewery or delivery throughout New York, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., Ohio, Nevada, New Hampshire, Vermont, North Dakota, and Virginia!
We were recently sent an experimental concentrated citra lupulin product, LUPOMAX, from out friends @BarthHaas to evaluate. To make a fair evaluation, Lupo Lab takes one of our favorite beers, Fluctuation, and uses this experimental version in the dry hop with everything else the same as fluctuation. Without discussing too much about this unreleased product, these concentrated hops are unique in that they essentially supersize flavors and aroma without adding negative aspects of overusing hops (yes… there is such a thing). Lupo Lab pours a hazy tangerine with enhanced flavors of dank citrus, ripe mango, sticky peach, drippy pineapple syrup and a hint of passionfruit. The finish is pointed while being well rounded with a familiar dose of our EQJuice.

Aussie Sweetness

on July 2, 2020 No comments

Today at 1:30 pm, we will be selling Aussie Sweetness a collaboration with our friends from Florida, Tripping Animals Brewing Co. (10.0 % TIPA) at $24 per 4-pk (No Limit). We will have this available with options for curbside pickup at the brewery or delivery throughout New York, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., Ohio, Nevada, New Hampshire, Vermont, North Dakota, and Virginia. Due to the holiday schedule, deliveries will be held until Monday.
A Zoom call with Tripping Animals had us talking about Kangaroos, Aussie hops, and Pete’s newest kicks, his “Sweetness” Roos. We decided to showcase a new favorite combination of Enigma and Galaxy hops in a TIPA before adding copious amounts of Marshmallow. Aussie Sweetness pours a milky yellow with explosive aroma of sweet Fluff and citrus.
We get flavors of tangerine, pineapple, and papaya in a thick and creamy milkshake like flavor. Notes of fruits and cool whip meets creamsicles doused with liquid fluff all wrapped up in our #EQjuice finish. This beer is extremely fun, very decadent and truly does represent, Aussie Sweetness! It may have you running over the holiday weekend like nine-time Pro Bowl selectee and Pro Football Hall of Famer… Mike Ditka once described Walter “Sweetness” Payton # 34 as the greatest football player he had ever seen – but an even greater human being.

Shout out to Tripping Animals for the label art!

Reminder: Retail is closed for pickup Saturday and Sunday. All deliveries will be held until Monday.
Thats all for today! Please have a safe weekend!

Flux Fluid

on July 2, 2020 No comments

Today at noon, we will be selling Flux Fluid, a collaboration with our friends from Interboro NYC (10.0 % TIPA) at $22 per 4-pk (No Limit).
Knowing this beer would come out around the long weekend; Pete, Ryan, and Jessie discussed flavors that were both refreshing and tropical for Flux Fluid and used hops with notes you may find in your favorite cocktail. It starts of with oats and wheat and a whirlpool of Simcoe before being heavily dry hopped with BRU-1, Sabro, and Motueka. Hazy yellow, in color this beer has flavors of orange peel, papaya, lime, pineapple, and berries with a hint of coconut. A creamy mouthfeel leads the way to its juicy and smoooooth finish. The ABV is undetectable for a beer this size so enjoy with care, this fluid will sneak up on you.

Please also note we are open from 12-6pm for pickup today and tomorrow. Closed on both Saturday and Sunday!

dHop 5

on July 2, 2020 No comments

Today, we will be selling dHop 5 (8.0 % DIPA) at $20 per 4-pk (No Limit). We will have this available with options for curbside pickup at the brewery or delivery throughout New York, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., Ohio, Nevada, New Hampshire, Vermont, North Dakota, and Virginia!
dHop5 is a 8.0% DIPA that supersizes one of our favorite Equilibrium IPAs: Fractal Citra/Galaxy. We scaled Fractal’s grain bill, water treatment, fermentation, and super sized the hop bill of citra and galaxy. dHop5 pours a milky straw yellow (milk>haze) releasing aromas of passion fruit, peach, lime, and pineapple all integrated with a sorbet twist. The taste is a bright creamy tropical flavor that is dangerously drinkable and balanced with our signature #EQjuice finish.

Barrel-Aged Players

on July 1, 2020 No comments

Right now on Eventbrite (link in bio and below), we are selling Barrel-Aged Players (13% ABV Imperial Stout) $22 per 500ML bottle. 1 bottle per person and unique credit card (NO PROXIES). The Eventbrite winner must be present for IP pickup or shipped to the same name as Eventbrite ticket, no exceptions.
Over one year ago we took a portion of the yield from Players, a beer conceptualized with our friends @threechiefsbeer and added it to Willet Bourbon barrels. BA Players was then treated with Madagascar vanilla beans, Fiji cacao nibs, toasted coconut, and @mostracoffee Ghost Bear espresso blend. The beer pours jet black with a tan head. Aromas of fudge, oak, and coconut lead the way into flavors of thick brownie batter melded with coconut flakes, sweet vanilla, wheated bourbon, and an affirming coffee note that harmonizes all of the flavors in a perfectly even keeled adjunct proportion. Bourbon barrel notes cup the adjuncts in a beer that is thicker than its base with a creamy milk chocolate viscosity in a perfectly wrapped finish. This beer is everything we hoped it would be and we are excited have it help shape our future barrel program. Please drink fresh at room temperature to reap the full reward each adjunct has to offer.
Here is how you get your bottle after your purchase on Eventbrite.
In person pickup: Pick up starts today. Add it to your cart from our website by clicking the BA Players Button. Please do not add this item to your cart if you haven’t won the Eventbrite sale.
Delivery: This bottle can be shipped throughout New York, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., Ohio, Nevada, New Hampshire, Vermont, North Dakota, and Virginia! There is no minimum order for shipping the bottle, but please remember, the flat rate is in place. Add it to your cart from our website by clicking the BA Players Button. Please do not add this item to your cart if you haven’t won the Eventbrite sale. One bottle per box and we cannot combine winning orders for shipping.
