Today we’ll have our collaboration with Arkane Aleworks ready for you. For Every Action There Is A Reaction (10 % TIPA) will be available for pre-order pickup and delivery via our website at $22 per 4-pk. No Limit.
When movie buffs Dan and Joe from Florida’s Arkane Aleworks came to visit we spent a good amount of time discussing our favorite movies. Snatch topped the list and we were all soon spitting one of our favorites lines: “For every action, there is a reaction [And a Pikey reaction… is quite a ****ing thing]” came up. This catch phrase also happens to be Newton’s Third Law of Motion. After making that connection, we rolled with it and our beer was born. We felt so accomplished blending physics with Snatch we even added Sir Isaac himself to the Snatch Crew (see label). So what happens when you interact Mosaic and Galaxy and scale up to a big Triple? Magic…
We started with a Fractal grain bill and a Mosaic whirlpool before an aggressive dry hop of Mosaic and Galaxy. For Every Reaction, There Is A Reaction pours a deep hazy tangerine and has an explosive aroma as soon as you crack the can open. Bright notes of Papaya, Mango, Berry, and Stone Fruit take the lead in a beautiful melody of tropical fruit flavors. A resinous and gummy mouthfeel coats the tongue as the big #EQjuice flavors blossom. Dangerously smooth and drinkable for a 10% beer, this beer may slow your reactions quickly so be careful.
So, what do you think? Do you know anyone who might be interested?

Half Full
on April 29, 2020 No commentsToday for curbside pickup and delivery, we will sell cans of our newest collaboration with our friends, District 96 Beer Factory, Half Full (8.0% DIPA) $20 per 4-PK, no limit.
During our late-night Zoom call with Johnny, we discussed working on a beer that will tie in an important message during these unprecedented and challenging times: Stay Positive. Optimism creates opportunity and pessimism kills it. Expecting good things helps formulate actions to produce good things. We are all in this together and we want you to remember to always see your glass as Half Full. If you have an empty glass, crack one of these cans, make it 100% full, then half full, enjoy and reflect on positive thoughts during this virtual tropical vacation.
We started with one of our all-time favorite beers: Sexual Fluctuation. We are extremely optimistic that upping the hopping rate, adding Sabro and a bit of lactose will keep your glasses at least Half Full. Half Full pours a bright vivid yellow with an extremely pungent juice forward nose. The first sip is intoxicating with bright flavors of passion fruit, tangerine, pineapple and coconut flakes spritzed with fresh squeezed lime juice. After the explosion of the tropical fruit like characteristics, the creamy popsicle like finish coats the palate and our #EQjuice finish completes your sip. Luckily with your glass Half Full you can go in for another sip. Stay safe.

Fractal Citra/Mosaic
on April 29, 2020 No commentsAvailable now and on our website for preorder pickup and delivery throughout NYS, we have cans of Fractal Citra/Mosaic. $16 per 4-pk, No limit!
Fractal Citra/Mosaic (6.8% IPA) investigates the interplay between Citra and Mosaic, and our revised hopping processes.
Fractal Citra+Mosaic pours a resinous-hazy-straw yellow releasing complex aromas of dank citrus, passion fruit, berries, earthy grass, and tropical melon. The taste is resinous, dank pineapple juice with a touch of pine. It ends with a slightly creamy mouthfeel and a firm but rounded bitterness.
Strawberry Zeppelin
on April 29, 2020 No commentsAt our noon opening and on our website for pre-order and delivery we’ll be selling Strawberry Zeppelin, a collaborative effort with our friends from Crosby Hop Farm
and Hops Direct LLC at Puterbaugh Farms (6.5% IPA) $16 per 4-pk. No Limit!
Despite not having actual Strawberries, Strawberry Zeppelin is an IPA brewed to highlight Belma hops grown at a Puterbaugh Farms in Mabtin and processed by Crosby Hops.
We paired the Belma with Cashmere to help boost the flavor profile. Strawberry Zeppelin pours bright yellow with flavors of mixed berry, underripe strawberry and raspberry. It has a pleasant berry earthiness and a bit dankness. This beer is extremely crushable and is a fun way to exhibit berry notes without actually using them. Thanks to Puterbaugh and Crosby for working with us on this one!
Super Fractal Mandelbrot Set
on April 29, 2020 No commentsAt our noon opening, we will be selling Super Fractal Mandelbrot Set (10.5% TIPA) $22 per 4-pk via our website for pre-order pickup and delivery. Please see previous posts for delivery guidelines. No Limit!
The Mandelbrot Set is named after Mathematician Benoit Mandelbrot. It’s a set of complex numbers for which the function does not diverge and are bounded in absolute value. Following the previous Fractal Sets and continuing the series framework, we scaled up from Fractal using a super simple grain bill of 2row and our specific fractal fermentation profile before intensely hoping it with a Citra whirlpool and a dryhop of Sabro, Strata Galaxy, and Amarillo.
Super Fractal Mandelbrot Set pours a vivid hazy yellow with an aroma of tropical citrus and grapefruit. The flavor comes alive with decadent tangerine, stone fruit, and berry, with a touch of coconut and a zesty lime finish.
Dramatic fruit notes take the lead as a crushable and #EQjuice profile builds up into a smooth and creamy finish that will leave you seeing the biggest fractal reflections yet.
Radium
on April 29, 2020 No commentsBack on March 8th, Kristen, Jess, and Michelle helped out on make a DIPA to honor International Women’s Day. A large number of Equilibrium employees are Woman and have helped grow us to what we are today. Radium is our oude to the woman who make the beer industry go round. We point to Marie Curie, the first woman to win a Nobel Prize and the first person — man or woman — to win a nobel prize twice. With her husband, Marie’s efforts led to the discovery of Radium, which led to the discovery and development of X-rays.
With Ryan and Johns help, Kristen, Jess, and Michelle used a white wheat malt base and a blend of blend of azacca, loral, el dorado, and Idaho gem. Radium pours a bright yellow with a flavor profile of papaya, orange slices, and melon with a light dankness and a #EQjuice finish.
MoksaMarga
on April 29, 2020 No commentsAt Noon today we will sell cans of MoksaMarga (8.0% DIPA) a collaboration with our friends from Moksa Brewing Company at $20 per 4-pk. **We are temporarily removing limits**. Order ahead for curbside pickup (We open at 12PM) or schedule delivery. Delivery orders must be in by 6pm the night before your zone (check out stories for zone graphic)
Moksa is a term for various forms of emancipation, enlightenment, and liberation while Marga is The Path to achieve enlightenment. Together they create radiant awareness that underlies all experience. These concepts meld with our logo, which is a hand-drawn circle created from one uninhibited brushstroke to express a moment when the mind is free to let the body create; a circle of enlightenment. Through science we strive to do something similar to hops by liberating hop compounds from the hop flower in a circle of reinvention to form delicious liquid.
We started with a heavy dose wheat and oats before heavily hopping this beer with Citra and Rakau. MoksaMarga pours a vibrant yellow with aroma and notes of tropical fruit, candied pineapple, mango, and tangerine. It continues to morph into a juicy buildup with our #EQjuice profile and soft smooth finish that will slip you into a meditative state.

When Karl and Evan were up to Collab there was a lot of fun about one of our favorite 80’s movies because of Pete’s Cobra Kai inspired jean jacket vest (see Collab pic from a few weeks ago. Shout out to @mattyeaats!). Not knowing then that this beer would be released in a time of crisis to friends, peers, and industry; it sends an important message of resilience and not giving up. As taught by Mr. Miyagi: Much of life’s adversity is out of your control and can seem unfair, but that’s no excuse to accept defeat. These situations can be a key component of growth. Covid-19 may be sweeping our legs now, but let’s show them our Crane Kick. We hope you’re hanging in there and staying safe.
Flaked oats and wheat make up the base before a Citra and Simcoe whirlpool. We dry hopped it with Citra, Galaxy, Sabro, Motueka and Simcoe. Sweep The Leg pours a bright tangerine with notes of a big tropical fruit salad. The taste is ripe tropical island fruit, flaked coconut, and assorted citrus in a creamy #EQjuice forward finish. This beer will sweep your leg if you’re not careful with it
dHop20
on April 29, 2020 No commentsper 4pk!
dHop20 is the newest iteration in our experimental series. We started out with a white wheat and oat base and a blend of Mosaic, Motueka, and Amarillo hops.
dHop20 pours a hazy yellow and has an aroma and notes of candied orange, lime, and peaches with a juicy backbone. The body is soft and pillowy with a build up to our beautiful #EQjuice finish.
