Our newest Fractal investigates the Cashmere hop with a little help from Citra.

This simple but layered beer pours a bright yellow with a creamy head releasing aromas of coconut, citrus, lime smarties, and melon. Flavors of tangerine, Lemon & Lime spritzers, and assorted melon poured in a coconut shell lead into a creamy and smooth bite.

Cookies & Cream Pop

Our music-playing-magical truck series is back with Cookies & Cream Pop. Using the same base as favorites like Almond Pop, Peanut Butter Swirl Bar, and Strawberry Stoutcake; Cookies and Cream Pop was conditioned on 200 lbs of crushed sandwich cookies, Madagascar Vanilla Beans, Cacao Nibs, Cake Mix, and a touch of Lactose.

Cookies & Cream Pop pours pitch black with a brown saturated head releasing aromas of chocolate cookie wafers, creamy vanilla cookie center, and deep fudge brownie. A thick mouthfeel morphs into balanced layers of fudge, your favorite melty vanilla ice cream saturated sandwich cookie, and a cake like batter finish. This nostalgic treat will take you back to hearing the sounds of the ice cream truck after just a few sips!

Originally brewed to commemorate batch 300 of beer made on our system on Henry Street, we used Strata hops with some support from a favorite hop, Citra. This beer pours a bright hazy yellow and has an aroma of passion fruit meets pot. Flavors turn into a battlefield of tropical fruits including; mango, passion fruit, melon, fresh berry with an underlying citrus flavor. Prepare for glory upon finish, which is a tropical build up showcasing our #EQjuice, which never surrenders.

Space Rainbow Batch 2

Solar Fluctuations cause intense electromagnetic radiation to travel across the Galaxy, which can be scattered to produce a full circle of colors ranging from red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. When there is no horizon to break this up you get a full ring of color vs the traditional semi-circle…. Or… a Space Rainbow. For this beer, we wanted to make something smooth, pillowy, whimsical, and wholesome, all the things that remind us of rainbows.

We used plenty of oats and wheat, a whirlpool of Citra and Rakau, and then dry hopped it with Galaxy, Rakau, and Citra. We added a touch of lactose to make it extra smooth and pillowy. The beer pours hazy and milky yellow with a puffy and lacy head giving a full prism of flavors including soft papaya, lime, apricot, and pineapple with a touch of pine. This beer is soft and has a luscious and cushy mouthfeel and a beautiful EQ juice finish.

Galaxy Flare

Not long ago, the center of our Milky Way galaxy exploded.

Researchers have found evidence of a cataclysmic flare that punched outward in both directions from our galaxy’s center, reaching so far into intergalactic space that its impact was felt 200,000 light-years away. With the introduction of our first all Galaxy DIPA and its explosive fruit forward flavor, we thought the name Galaxy Flare was a perfect fit.

Starting off with a base of white wheat and flaked oats, we used our 100% hand selected Victorian Galaxy in both the whirlpool and dry hop for the hop bill. Pouring a deep hazy yellow, saturated aromas and flavors of Florida navel orange, passionfruit, lychee, and grapefruit build into a dank #EQjuice forward finish with a balanced creaminess and a touch of hop bitterness. It seems like it took us lightyears to make our first All Galaxy DIPA, but we think it was worth the wait!

Fractal Zappa/Citra

Our newest Fractal investigates the Zappa hop with a minor role from our old friend Citra. Zappa is a new hop that was originally recovered from the wild in New Mexico and in collaboration with the Zappa family, it was named after Frank Zappa to celebrate music and beer being so intricately linked.

This simple but complex beer pours a bright and milky yellow with impressive head retention releasing complex aromas of grape big league chew, citrus, and passionfruit. We get flavors of that purple stuff you loved as a kid, citrus, concord grape, and a mix of Fruity Pebbles and Crunch Berries with a creamy but firm bitterness.

Vulgar Display of Flower is a tribute to an aggressive yet balanced assault on the senses. It blends East-meets-West coast DIPA with our own Equilibrium twist. It is dry, bitter, piny, resinous, yet remains smooth, juicy, and drinkable. This concoction displays the hop flower’s assertive yet delicious nature with an #EQjuice finish.

Galactic Pretzel Knots

Based off of one of our favorite ice cream flavors, we brewed up a decadent stout and conditioned it on Pretzels, Peanuts, Madagascar Vanilla, Cacao, and Lactose. Pitch black in color, its tan head releases aromas of pretzels coming out of the oven, bakers chocolate, and crushed peanuts supported by a background of something yummy. Balanced and well integrated flavors of chocolate fudge, stuffed peanut butter pretzels, and vanilla cake come alive and lead into velvety mouthfeel and a slightly salted biscuit like dimension from the addition of 200lbs of Country pretzels. A galactic liquid form of Chubby Hubby awaits!

A data point or observation is a set of one or more measurements on a single member of unit of observation. All our beers across all our styles are based on data points. We felt it was the perfect name to test our newly hand selected Mosaic Hops. Starting off with a big base of oats and wheat, we aggressively hopped this beer with our 2020 hand selected mosaic lot in both the whirlpool and the dry hop. Data Points pours a hazy electric yellow with a sweet aroma of citrus and berry with flavors of navel orange, mango, herbal blueberry, earthy lime peel, and the Devil’s Lettuce. The #EQjuice builds up into a creamy and complex finish with a pop of juiciness lending data that shows we truly do love our new Mosaic.

Barrel Aged Shared Space Pinot Grigio

Today at Noon, we will sell, Barrel Aged Shared Space Pinot Grigio (8% ABV BA Wild Ale) $13 per 375 ml bottle. Limit 4 bottles per person. Shipping available to NY, PA, D.C, OH, VT, ND, NV, NH, NE, KY or VA.

We took our blended American wild ale and let it sit in Pinot Grigio barrels for just over 13 months. Shared Space started off with brewing two separate bases that could be thought of as cousins of Austin and TABA before additional strains of brettanomyces were added to activate the barrel metamorphosis.

Barrel Aged Shared Space Pinot Grigio pours a vibrant straw gold with aromas of lemon verbena, floral spice, and crushed almond. Delicate flavors of lime, Granny Smith apple, pie spice, and mild stone fruit lead into a vanilla creaminess from the oak. A complex minerality with a very balanced acidity makes this beer elegant, sophisticated, and a treat for beer and wine lovers alike. BA Shared Space will continue to evolve in proper cellar conditions.
