Today at Noon, we will have cans of our newest collaboration with our friends, District 96 Beer Factory, Full Full (10.0% TIPA) $22 per 4-PK, no limit. We will have this available with options for curbside pickup at the brewery or delivery throughout New York, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., Ohio, Nevada, New Hampshire, Vermont, North Dakota, and Virginia! (Please follow individual State limits for delivery)
A beer made to remind us to keep optimistic, we were really happy with how Half Full came out. If you’ve been following along, you know EQ wouldn’t be EQ if we didn’t scale up something we love. After chatting with Johnny we decided it was time to get both the EQ juice and Snake Fruit finishes in one cup again and remind everyone to stay optimistic. We upscaled the Half Full base, used Citra/Galaxy whirlpool (Hi Sexier Fluctuation!), and we finished it with a dry hop of Citra, Galaxy, Sabro, one of our new favorite hops: BRU-1, and a touch of lactose.
Full Full pours a vivid yellow with a juice forward nose. Robust and bright flavors of tangelo, papaya, lime and stone fruit lead the way with a touch of coconut. The buildup of creamy flavors morph into our notable #EQjuice and #Snakefruit finishes. We hope this luscious and flavorful liquid helps remind you to keep optimism high as we continue to get through these times together. We will also be re-releasing the last half of this special EQ/D96 glass made to commemorate one of earliest relationships Equilibrium has formed. These can be picked up in person or shipped from the merch section of our website.

Enigmatic

on June 22, 2020 No comments

Spinning into your Friday at Noon, we are selling Enigmatic (10.0 % ABV TIPA) at $22 per four pack. We will have this available with options for curbside pickup at the brewery or delivery throughout New York, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., Ohio, Nevada, New Hampshire, Vermont, and North Dakota, and Virginia.
The Tasmanian Devil graces the label of our next beer. It’s one of the pictures from Pete’s photo album titled “Straight Outta the Southern the Hemisphere” (💡). The Tasmanian Devil is the lore of Looney Tune legend although they do not really spin around like the cartoon character, they can be outrun by chickens, they normally cannot see 3 feet in front of their face, their eyes reflect red (like a devil), and they throw incredible temper tantrums when hungry. Enigmatic indeed.
Enigmatic starts with a base of white wheat and oats before a big citra whirlpool. We then generously dry hopped it with Enigma and Galaxy. Enigmatic pours a glowing bright tangerine with an aroma of tropical citrus, pineapple, and earthy berry.
Big flavors of tangerine, pineapple, pinot gris, and, berry lead the way into a dank tropical fruit twist flavor from our signature #EQjuice profile. A few cans of this smooth and incredibly delicious concoction may have you dizzy.

There and Back Again

on June 22, 2020 No comments

For fun and for the first time, we did a small bottle run (~320 bottles) of dry hopped There and Back Again back in October of 2019. We will be selling it at $13 per 750ml, no limit. We will have this available with options for curbside pickup at the brewery or delivery throughout New York, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., Ohio, Nevada, New Hampshire, Vermont, and North Dakota, and Virginia.
This dry hopped 100% Brettanomyces fermented ale has been one of our favorite draft beers since we opened do to its bright tropical expression and it serves as the base for many of our fruited versions. We’re happy to bring you the dry hopped version for the first time. There and Back Again is a tale of a spontaneous fermentation, isolation, confiscation, rejuvenation, mutation, and finally perturbation. This sour American Wild Ale, is a collaborative effort with our dear friend Dr. Jason Rodriguez. We took our house “honey badger” mixed culture (no saccharomyces) and allowed it ferment over several months before dry hopping it with a touch of citra and galaxy. We then bottle conditioned it for almost 8 month prior to today’s release. It pours a hazy golden yellow releasing bright notes of pineapple, pink grapefruit, lemon, and passion fruit with an undercurrent of pleasant funk. It tastes is sour and juicy with similar notes as the smell with a nice dry finish.

on June 15, 2020 No comments

This Monday, 06/15/20 at 12 PM on Eventbrite (link below), we will be selling King’s Midnight PB&J (12 % Imperial Stout) $20 per 500ML bottle. 1 bottle per person and unique credit card (NO PROXIES).
King’s Midnight PB&J is a spin-off of Graceland (Currently our highest rated beer). We took the exact same base and treated it with peanuts, marshmallows, and boysenberries to recreate that famous sandwich in liquid form. KMPBJ pours pitch black with a magenta tinted tan head and has aromas of chocolate covered berries and heaps of peanut butter. Layered flavors of all the components come together to bring you notes of a chocolate dipped peanut butter and jelly fluff sandwich in a glass. This decadent concoction finishes with a thick and creamy mouthfeel and the same milkshake like viscosity you’ve experienced in some of our recent stouts. Don’t Be Cruel, make sure you share some!

Straight Outta The Laboratory

on June 15, 2020 No comments

Today at Noon we will be selling cans of Straight Outta The Laboratory at $22 per 4-pk (10.2 % ABV TIPA) No Limit. We will have this available with options for curbside pickup at the brewery or delivery throughout New York, Washington D.C., Ohio, Nevada, New Hampshire, Vermont, North Dakota, and Virginia!
Batch 4 of one of our favorite TIPA’s is back today. This is the first time SOTL has been brewed on South Street and we are extremely happy with the result.
We start of with a Straight Outta Middletown grain bill, supersized the amount of citra and applied what we learned from Henry Street here to create beer bursting with extreme flavor and our signature #EQjuice finish.
Straight Outta The Laboratory pours a hazy bright tangerine and has very strong aromas of freshly squeezed citrus, lime, grapefruit, and a tropical character that makes actual tropical fruit green with envy. The flavor is explosive with notes of bright tropical orange juice, mango smoothie, and dank grass. It’s resinous and chewy with a strong escalating brightness and a just a touch of residual sweetness balanced by a soft bitterness and our juicy finish.

Graceland

on June 10, 2020 No comments

Today at Noon we will be selling Graceland, a collaboration with friends Civil Society Brewing (12% Imperial Stout) at $18 per 500ml bottle (No Limit). We will have this available with options for curbside pickup at the brewery or delivery throughout New York, Washington D.C., Ohio, Nevada, New Hampshire, Vermont, North Dakota, and Virginia!
Graceland was conceptualized when Civil Society came to visit a few months back. We talked with Karl and Evan about making a banana stout for the first time. We didn’t stop there. We decided to add peanut butter, and marshmallow to make an Elvis inspired beer. Graceland pours pitch black with a beautiful mocha head and a peanut butter and marshmallow aroma. Fit for a king, this beer is decadent and incredibly viscous. Flavors of fudge and peanut butter cup hit initially before a balanced banana and marshmallow fluff flavor takes over before the creamy milkshake like finish. Truly dessert in a glass, Graceland will have you all shook up.

Harvested All The Simcoe

on June 10, 2020 No comments
Today at Noon we will be selling Harvested All The Simcoe (10%TIPA) at $22 per 4-pk (No Limit). We will have this available with options for curbside pickup at the brewery or delivery throughout New York, Washington D.C., Ohio, Nevada, New Hampshire, Vermont, North Dakota, and Virginia!
Harvester of Simcoe has been in rotation since being debuted in 2017. We love this mainstay but we have curious, inquisitive, and tripling minds. We love probing, research, and investigation. We had to ask the question, what happens when you scale up? We Harvested All The Simcoe (we literally ran out haha) to find out.
We upped the grain bill, softened up the base while substantially increasing the amount of hops. All the Simcoe. Harvested All The Simcoe pours a murky and deep vivid yellow. It has saturated creamy aromas of bright pine forest, ripe passion fruit, berry compote, more pine, and earth. The taste is a luscious tropical fruit cup on the hottest day, an earthy backbone, with a resinous piney finish that transitions to a firm but very delicate bitterness and an even bigger #EQjuice finish. We are super happy we asked what if…
