This Saturday 12/1 from 11:30AM – 6PM at the brewery, we will debut cans of our other Other Half Collaboration: Dream Lab (10.2% TIPA) at $22 per four pack. Limit 1 case per person, limits subject to change. This release will be a normal Saturday release.

Think if Dream Wave Fluctuation and Straight Outta the Laboratory had a baby with no lactose. When Sam and Anthony from Other Half Brewing Company came up to brew, we were all discussing how much we liked our first EQ/OH collab Dream Wave Fluctuation, and on the EQ side, how much we like our recent beer Straight Outta the Laboratory (SOTL). We ended up taking EQ’s SOTL grain bill, modified an aggressive Other Half hopbill of Galaxy and Citra, and ran it through the SOTL process to bring out the EQ juice. This is how dreams are made.

Dream Lab pours a glowing opaque tangerine color releasing aromas of passion fruit, lime, peach, and pineapple all integrated with a bright citrus backdrop. The taste is a bright creamy tropical of flavor with an escalating brightness buoyed by a soft velvety mouth feel. This beer is extremely well balanced and drinkable. In fact, I finished the whole can while writing this and caught half a buzz… please drink responsibly. – PEte

As a surprise, we are releasing Unlikely Foragers Single Thread today at $12 per bottle, limit 1 pp. We blended the majority of Unlikely Foragers with base Austin to add depth and complexity. As an experiment, we bottled 200 of the unblended base and allowed it to condition for several months. Unlikely Foragers Single Thread will be released today to celebrate the holiday, throw back to spring time, and the start of our taproom journey. This version is more dandelion forward with a very soft and gentle acidity. It’s beautifully soft and balanced.

In the spirit of family and collaboration on Wednesday 11/21 from 12:00PM – 5:00 PM we are beyond excited to debut cans of our Other Half Brewing Company Collaboration: Lucid Dream Wave. $20 per 4-pack, limit 1 case per person. Limit subject to change.

We are closed Thurs – Sunday for holidays and we will not be setting any of this beer aside for later release.

During a lucid dream, the dreamer is awake, conscious of the space and environment around them. It’s almost a doorway into an alternative universe, one that we control. Creating this controllable fantasy began with Dream Wave Fluctuation, increasing the dry hop, blending Citra, Amarillo, Galaxy, and El Dorado, and applying Other Half’s Dream treatment.
Lucid Dream Wave pours a hazy glowing tangerine color releasing aromas of passion fruit, pineapple, and candied peaches and cream all integrated with a juicy twist. The taste is loaded with EQ juice that blends with a bright creamy tropical wave of flavor with a touch of sweet that is dangerously drinkable and balanced.
We will also have a limited amount of Rastal Lawrence collaboration glasses along with a small run of tee’s available. Glass and shirts each limited to 1pp.

This Saturday, 11/17, from 11:30am-6pm at the brewery, we are happy to introduce Hop Wave 4. $20 per four pack, limit 1-case per person. Limits subject to change.

Hop Wave 4 (DIPA 8.0%. abv) is a blend of six different hops woven together with a healthy dose of wheat and oats adding just a touch of lactose. Hop Wave 4 pours a vibrant hazy yellow releasing notes of tropical fruit salad and cannabis. The taste is dank-citrus with a creamy sorbet mouthfeel featuring the coveted EQ Juice on finish you’ve been experiencing with the last few releases.

This Saturday 11/10 from 11:30AM-6PM at the brewery, we are happy to introduce Fluctuation Wave at $20 per four pack. Limit 1 case per person, limits subject to change.
Fluctuation Wave (8.5 % DIPA) takes our beloved DIPA Fluctuation, supersizes the hop bill, adds a touch of lactose, and uses our revised hop process. The tasting notes for this are simple: This beer is the DIPA version of Straight Outta The Laboratory with even more EQ juice and a smooth lactose finish. We’re very excited about this one.

Another juicy batch of MC² will also be available on Saturday. $18 per 4-pk, Limit 1 case per person.

This Saturday 11/3 from 11:30AM-6PM at the brewery, we are happy to introduce Mass Fluxes (8.0%) at $20 per four pack. Limit 1 case per person, limits subject to change.

That lab juice is loose, this time in a DIPA. The next step in developing a mathematical model to optimize a desired flavor profile is understanding the relevant mass fluxes.
Lessons learned from control volume helped create Straight Outta the Laboratory, which in turn helped us identify the relevant mass fluxes to create that EQ Juice.

Mass Fluxes pours a hazy bright tangerine and has aromas of freshly squeezed tropical fruit, lime, grapefruit, and freshly cut grass. The flavor is bright tropical orange juice with mango, with a resinous and chewy mouthfeel. The finish has an escalating brightness balanced by a soft bitterness.

This Saturday 11/3 from 11:30am-6 pm at the brewery, we will be selling cans of Fractal Enigma+Citra. $16 per four pack, limit one case per person.
Fractal Enigma+Citra (6.8% IPA) investigates the interplay between Enigma and Citra, and our revised hopping processes.

Fractal Engima+Citra pours a resinous-hazy-straw yellow releasing complex aromas of pinto gris white wine, bright grass, and tropical melon. The taste follows the aroma with a resinous creamy mouthfeel and a firm but rounded bitterness.

This Saturday 11/3 from 11:30am-6 pm at the brewery we are pleased to release Unlikely Foragers at $12 per bottle, limit 6 bottles per person. We will release half of the bottles. The second half of the bottles will continue to mature and we plan on releasing them next May on a Saturday following next years dandelion picking along with 3 different BA variants (two different white wines and gin).

Beer is community. Back on May 27th, a team of likely friends gathered in an unlikely location to forage dandelion blossoms for Equilibrium’s first collaborative brew with the beer community. A special thanks to Mike O’Brien for sharing his beautiful field with us. Unlikely Foragers is a farmhouse ale brewed with dandelions and Equilibrium’s farmhouse culture. The younger beer was blended with threads of aged Austin for added depth and complexity and bottle conditioned for months. The beer pours a deep golden color with a light head releasing aromas of tropical lemon, floral dandelion, light funk, and bright hay. The taste is dry with a nice white wine minerality and a gentle tartness to stimulate the pallet all integrated in a balanced drink. This beer is unfiltered, unpasteurized, naturally carbonated and will continue to evolve over time if properly cellared.

This Saturday 10/27 from 11:30am-6pm at the brewery, we are happy to introduce the next beer in our Wave series, Harvester of Waves. $20 per four pack, limit 1 case per person (limits subject to change).

Harvester of Waves (8.5 % DIPA) takes our head brewer Ryan’s favorite beer and adds a touch of lactose. You’ll find elevated aromas of passion fruit, bright pine, berry and earth. The taste follows with light pine and tropical fruit in a creamier form than its predecessor while the lactose adds a smooth creamy sorbet finish.

This Saturday 10/27 from 11:30am-6pm at the brewery, we are happy to bring back Harvester of Simcoe. $20 per four pack, limit 1 case per person (limits subject to change).

Harvester of Simcoe (8.8% DIPA) has aromas of passion fruit, bright pine, berry and earth, followed by some bready notes. The taste is light pine and tropical fruits supported by a firm but rounded bitterness and our signature EQ juice finish.
