on December 18, 2020 No comments

Company. $22 per 4-pk (No Limit). We will have this available for pre-order with options for curbside pickup at the brewery or delivery throughout New York, Washington D.C., Ohio, Nevada, New Hampshire, Vermont, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.

Using the biggest dose yet of our 2020 hand selected Citra, Climb The Ballmer Peak Batch 2 is here. The Ballmer Peak – Steve Ballmer of Microsoft discovered a correlation between cognitive ability, creativity, problem solving, and performance after you indulge in an alcohol beverage. This sweet spot is known as the Ballmer Peak. When we had the pleasure of having JC from Trillium here, we talked about how much we loved the Ballmer Peak collaboration we brewed in Canton in back in 2019 (possibly mid-peak). Keeping the recipe similar, we wanted to revisit the beer that helped form precious moments, enhanced BBQ recipes, friendships, and of course delicious recipes. To help you obtain this experience, we will help you Climb the Ballmer Peak.
Climb The Ballmer Peak uses our Super fractal base and fermentation and is hopped exclusively with hand selected Citra. This TIPA pours an opaque bright orange and has an intense juice forward aroma of Mango, Passionfruit, Pineapple, and Rainbow Melon. We don’t know exactly what rainbow melon is, but we want to stay true to our emotional responses that occur while we Climb the Ballmer peak. Flavors and bright notes of deep navel orange, drippy peach, passionfruit, grapefruit and lime go along with a touch of berry and lychee in a juicy and thick mouthfeel. The EQ juice profile is extreme, and this beer can easily pass as a juice drink, although reaching your Ballmer Peak after just a few sips may say otherwise.

Middletown Waves takes one of our favorite triples, Straight out of Middletown
and adds a balanced amount of lactose and a heavy dose of oats showcasing an even thicker and creamier finish. This batch has a hand selected Mosaic and Citra hop bill used at a higher hopping rate. It pours a very murky tangerine color and releases aromas of fresh squeezed orange juice and earthy grass. The taste is resinous nectar of dank-citrus, light pine and orange push-pops. OG’S Axe

on December 10, 2020 No comments

Today at 12 PM we will sell, OG’s Axe (8.0% DIPA) a collaboration with Fidens Brewing Company at $20 per four pack available for curbside pickup at the brewery or delivery throughout New York, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., Ohio, Nevada, New Hampshire, Vermont, North Dakota, and Virginia!

Fidens Brewing visited Middletown a few weeks to do a spin off of their beer, Eugene’s Axe. Since OG, our Henry Street head brewer, first met Fidens last year, we all thought it was fitting for OG to hold the Axe this time, as he’s constantly chopping down hop monsters to bring everyone delicious liquid. Be careful with that Axe, OG!
OG’s Axe starts off with an enormous base of oats before adding Citra, Strata, and Galaxy. Pouring hazy yellow with aromatic pops of pineapple, citrus, and crushed berry you’ll notice flavors of papaya, mango, weed and passionfruit exploding into a creamy, dank, and thick popsicle finish lined with #EQjuice. This beer is crushable dank juice, we don’t recommend holding sharp objects after consumption.

Binary Elements is part of a Bottle Logic Trilogy we hope to bring you every 24 months. It stems from a conversation with Brandon and Wes about Vanilla Gorilla and the idea to focus on the basic elements of dark beer, Barrel and patience. Binary Elements is our biggest stout ever. Period! It was aged for 12 months in Willet Barrels before spending an additional 6 months in Port barrels.
18 Months later, Binary Elements pours an onyx black with a deep mocha ruby tinted head. Notes of rich fudge, brownie batter, milk chocolate, maple syrup, and dark fruit lead into a beautiful touch of bourbon, which is all underpinned by a deep and rich port barrel on the finish. You can chew this stout. There is a sticky sweetness that clings to your soul cut by bourbon and oaky barrel character which leads to incredibly balanced and harmonized finish that is both flavorful and sophisticated.
Please enjoy this beer at or above 60° or closer to room temperature to take advantage of each and every characteristic Binary Elements has to offer.
